The gospel is uniquely designed to bring diverse people together as the apostle Paul stated plainly in Galatians 3:27-28, “For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free man, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.”
Your daily work is a part of God’s holy purpose for your life. It is the means by which you serve and bless others, producing goods or services which meet some human need.
The Lord is the true source of every good gift, so when we give we imitate his largess. God’s generosity in giving his own Son for our sins ought to lead us to give even more sacrificially and lovingly.
When people think that Christians are judgmental and harshly critical, they have a tendency to run the other way, but by being winsome and gracious, we may disarm their fears.
For those of us who know God, the glimpses of his grace that are evident in the world around us ought to cause our hearts to be lifted up in worship and praise.
