Since the word which saves us is eternal and unchanging, the salvation we receive is also eternal and unchanging. The more we meditate on his word, the more we will appreciate the nature of our blessed salvation.
The gospel is uniquely designed to bring diverse people together as the apostle Paul stated plainly in Galatians 3:27-28, “For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free man, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.”
Your daily work is a part of God’s holy purpose for your life. It is the means by which you serve and bless others, producing goods or services which meet some human need.
The Lord is the true source of every good gift, so when we give we imitate his largess. God’s generosity in giving his own Son for our sins ought to lead us to give even more sacrificially and lovingly.
